Notes from the Archive: One of a series of drawings of Street Furniture in the Memphis style. George Sowden and Nathalie Du Pasquier collaborated on numerous drawings of interiors, towns and cities expanding the view of Memphis design. Here Du Pasquier has applied pierced geometric detail along the top of her outdoor bench design with a companion piece that may have been intended as an ashtray. A unique, one-of-a-kind drawing and design for a smart and eye-catching place to wait for a train or taxi.
