Notes from the Archive: Every element of the Palace chair intensifies its rectilinear layout, with intense color and simple forms. However, its comfort is pleasantly surprising, and it functions equally well as a dining or side chair. The Palace Chair is often depicted in his drawings of interiors as seen Interior 3 pictured below. A classic Sowden design.
