Notes from the Archive: This chair was originally named the "Odessa" chair, but was immediately renamed after it's first exhibition in New York. "Spaghetti" refers to the pasta-like strips of PVC. The cords are slightly stretchy to allow the seat and back to conform for comfort while seated. This iconic design by Belotti was part of the initial 1960's movement towards incorporating plastic in everyday domestic furniture. Perfect as dining or simple side chairs.
