Notes from the Archive: Starck's first design for a toothbrush, with his trademark quill shape for the handle and a conical shaped stand. This shape was often referenced as Starck's nod to the work of Brancusi. Ten years later, a similar design titled Dr. Kiss was produced by Alessi. The production version of this toothbrush is in the MoMA collection, as well as many other international museum collections.
