The designer for the overall poster design is unknown, but the pattern used is similar to the pattern chosen for the cover of the Barbara Radice book, Memphis, Research, Experiences, Results, Failures and Successes of New Design. The Memphis/Milano logo on the poster was designed by Christoph Radl and the pattern "Rete" was designed by Ettore Sottsass for Memphis.
