Notes from the Archive: This catalogue accompanied Paley's second exhibition at the Peter Joseph Gallery and Paley's further explorations in designing and producing works of decorative art. As in his first exhibition, Baroque Modernism two years prior, he continued to use his state-of-the-art industrial techniques while incorporating natural materials including wood, stone, glass and slate. The exhibition included true domestic objects like bookends, table and floor lamps, andirons and fireplace tools to magnificent presentation tables and masterful sideboards.
