Notes from the Archive: Limn was a showroom in San Franciso, representing the best in modern furnishings and accessories in the 80's.  This exhibition was circa 1982-83 and was one of the earliest West Coast exhibitions of Memphis along with one at the Janus Gallery in Los Angeles. This poster is designed by Michael Mabry Design and includes both his signature use of typography along with charming hand drawn patterns within the letters.  Michael Mabry has received the AIGA medal in recognition of his exceptional achievements in design and communication. His firm has worked with Chronicle Books, The Land of Nod, Hewlett Packard Corporation, Lucas Films, Martha Stewart Omnimedia, the New York Times and many others.  His work is included in the SFMOMA library, the Library of Congress, and the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
