Notes from the archive: This volume featuring Alexander Girard was Laura Forde's second book in the Petit Glam series (her first was an extensive piece on Marimekko, the Finnish design company). She travelled with art director, Takaya Goto, to Santa Fe and interviewed Marilyn and John Neuhardt, who both had worked for Girard and in the Eames office. They also visited Girard's son, Marshall. The volume is filled with charming photos of Girard, his work and his amazing folk art collection. A true collectors edition.
