Notes from the Archive: Lagostina is a renowned brand of Italian cookware and classic Italian expresso pots and is best known for launching the first stainless steel collection of cookware in 1934, which was eventually exhibited at MoMA. Ettore Sottsass, founder of Memphis, designed this espresso pot in several color combinations including this primary red, along with versions in purple and green. This was his way of adding bright color to your morning coffee ritual. Quintessential Sottsass, a rare find and a very collectible design.
