Details: This example travelled with the Memphis exhibition to most venues from Memphis, Tennessee to the Cooper Hewitt in New York City. It was also displayed in the Grace Designs showroom and has remained in our founders collection. It is in truly remarkable condition despite its travels over the last thirty-plus years. Some minor knicks or scratches. Original electrical parts are intact. The lamp is in original condition. Original metal Memphis/Milano identification tag came back from one of the museum exhibitions taped to the bottom. We have left this intact as a memento from its travels.
Notes from the Archive: Ettore Sottass' drawings are often playful and childlike, and the Tahiti is infused with personality that is both inquisitive and introspective. It clearly incorporates a movable halogen light ideal for desk or end table use, as either a down or up light.  An early museum quality, highly collectible version of this definitive Sottsass design.
Shipping Notes: Free shipping included in the continental US. Please contact us for international shipping arrangements.
