Notes from the Archive: Ettore Sottass' drawings are often playful and childlike, and the Tahiti is infused with personality that is both inquisitive and introspective. It clearly incorporates a movable halogen light ideal for desk or end table use, as either a down or up light.  A definitive Sottsass design from the inaugural Memphis Collection from 1981.
