Notes from the Archive: Originally designed in 1958 for a restaurant in Copenhagen, the Langelinie Pavilion, where they still hang today. The Artichoke Lamp has over seventy steel "leaves", laser cut and configured by hand, then layered in twelve circular rows. This offers a glare free, diffused light source, as well as, an iconic modern silhouette.
